Atlanta Wedding + Corporate DJ Ronnie “Binge” Lacy

“Curator of infectious vibes.”

That’s how Binge describes himself as a DJ.  Never afraid to mix between ALL genres, his musical selections are his own therapy. Having grown up on a combination of funk (George Clinton, Kool & The Gang), gospel and soul (Luther Vandross, Yolanda Adams), synthesized grooves (Prince), and a love for both hip-hop and house, Binge boasts a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Mixing everything from Pop to Rock and everything in between, “There’s nothing new under the sun. A good deal of modern music is sampled giving me room to marry the old school with the new.” Today, this translates into carefully curated, musical sets that are guaranteed to match the style of his audience.

Binge is also no stranger to the ups-and-downs of a bustling city music scene. When he is not providing the soundtrack for weddings, he is spinning in nightclubs, happy hours, and at corporate events. Click here to check out Binge’s mixes!

Get To Know DJ Ronnie “Binge”Lacy

What made you get into the music industry?
Primarily, my musical influence came from growing up in church.  I grew up on a lot of funk music, gospel, and pop radio tunes.  Apart from spending majority of my time in church, I have ALWAYS been a huge fan of alternative style music, and definitely love throwing in those nods here and there to keep my audience engaged.

What is it about music that you’re passionate about?
I love getting lost in music and the joyful feelings it stirs up in my chest.  I also like it when it has a beat that commands my feet to start moving.

Describe your musical style.
Groove. Funk. Feel-Good

What are your career highlights, if any?
That one time I shared the stage with Party On The Moon. The #1 Party Band in the Nation.

What advice do you have for potential new clients?
Relax. Trust the people you’ve hired to pull off a great day!

Praises for DJ Binge!

“We were really impressed with Ronnie’s services. He did a wonderful job. We had him play decade hits from the 50s-80s. I was surprised that such a young guy had such a wide variety of music. He even took requests. Our coordinator also used his services for a youth program event. I’m not quite familiar with the songs he played for that, but I can assure you the kids knew and they had a great time.

I definitely recommend Ronnie to anyone looking for DJ services. He is very professional and from what I can see, has a wide range of music.”
