DJ Reggie has been DJ’ing since 1990. With a true passion for music, he has perfected his craft and it shows when he’s performing. DJ Reggie is a Senior Network Engineer by trade and a DJ at heart. He was a radio-mix disc jockey for WFXA 103.1 in Augusta, GA and a radio-mix disc jockey for “The Bomb” for WRAS 88.5 (GA State) in Atlanta. Reggie was also a resident DJ at Verve Lounge in Atlanta, GA spinning for patrons and special guests such as: Tyler Perry, Neyo, Mario, Allen Iverson, Amerie, Lisa Raye and Chris Brown. What made you get into the music industry?
Seeing a high school classmate spin at a backyard pool party. He had everyone jumping with the most popular music of that time.
Tell us something goofy or unique about yourself.
I would love ice cream for breakfast, lunch and dinner if it didn’t add 20 lbs to my midsection.
Describe your musical style.
I play a variation of genres. My favorites are the classics, which bring back nostalgia, but I also know the currents keep the party jumping.
How long have you been mixing?
I have been mixing since 1990.
What is your favorite event you have ever spun for?
My favorite event was for the 2-Live Stews. I did a adversarial event for them and had the crowd so hyped, they started break dancing. They raved about my performance on their syndicated radio show the next day.
What advice do you have for potential new clients?
Plan ahead so you can easily enjoy your wedding event. Planning ahead will prevent that wedding blur that most people who don’t plan experience.
