“When we began planning our wedding (and our budget), I was determined that the music would be a high priority but I didn’t want to break the bank either. A friend recommended DJ Joel Rabe from her own wedding and I am SO glad I took her advice. From the first contact we had with Joel and his team, they were prompt and professional. He offered to have a conference call, with both my fiancé and i, to discuss our taste in music and our vision for the big day. He worked with us on price and even threw in some up-lighting that really helped pull our decor together. We told him that we wanted a party that people just happened to get married at and he for sure delivered. From the first song after dinner to the last song of the night, the dance floor was packed – from ages 10 to 80. Joel wasn’t just a DJ who pressed play on an iPad, he mixed songs we chose from our play list with guest requests. He asked my bridesmaids for song requests and my maid of honor and I shared a dance that I’ll never forget. Joel has an amazing personality that kept the party going and fun for everyone. He worked with our planner and followed the “script” to a T for the whole flow of the reception. Joel and Laura took the time to meet with me and match us with a DJ they felt was best for our music taste. Our DJ Chris Watson was so personable and flexible. We gave him a chunk of songs that we wanted, and he ad-libbed the rest. He nailed it! I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. The up-lighting that came complementary with our package was beautiful. Lethal Rhythms also facilitated our photo booth and the pictures were awesome! They even sent a special gift after the wedding that I won’t spoil but helped captured the photos beautifully. I can’t wait to see the wedding video, as I know it will be better than expected based on the services we received! Even though I was not engaged yet, I knew that when I was planning my wedding, I would ask him to DJ. He is extremely personable & knowledgeable about music. His experience with weddings really shined in our first meeting. He was able to provide wonderful suggestions to make the night flow smoothly, such as when to do the speeches, cut the cake, & more.

He killed it at on our wedding night! What I loved best about Joel was that immediately after dinner, he got everyone on the dance floor. He started our party right away, & with only a few hours at the reception, it was so much fun to get right into dancing. His music selection was awesome! He played all the traditional Jewish wedding songs for us, & he was able to keep everyone on the dance floor all night, including my friends, family & even the older relatives.

Joel is very accommodating. He allows you to fill out a form online prior to the wedding so you can list any special song requests, and he does a phenomenal job at mixing the music.
