We mentioned the use of metallics to you earlier this season when the trend was in its budding stages, but it has really taken off now! Metallics are being used in weddings in a vast multitude of ways from invitations to wedding-day makeup!
David Tutera of We TV’s My Fair Wedding appreciates the trend and claims that metallics are “everywhere from linens to floral vessels and from table décor to bridal bouquet accents. Metallics are a luxurious touch that also add a bit of luminous texture.â€
Sparkling champagne, gleaming pewter, icy platinum, shimmering copper, and gilded gold are just a few of the metallic colors that are being seen in weddings this year so far. Wedding colors featuring the trend are usually pairing 1 bright color with 1-2 metallics, but some weddings are rocking only metallics! This trend is so much fun and gives a wedding an elegantly rich yet modern vibe.
