Sales Manager Jessica Zappia

Jessica Brown Zappia is one of the newest members to join the Lethal Rhythms team. Her role as Bridal Liaison is to head up wedding client communication and business development. This Atlanta native joins us as our Bridal Liaison and brings with her over seven years of advertising and marketing sales experience from the TV, radio and digital spaces.  She has worked for companies such as CBS Television Station and Atlanta’s #1 Top 40 Radio Station, Q100 99.7 FM.

With a heart of gold and a personality to match, it’s rare that Jessica meets a stranger. She has accumulated quite the collection of besties because of it! She’s a lover of all-things glam, a foodie, wine connoisseur, and film fanatic. Did we mention she can repeat every line of the movie Elf? Or any Will Ferrell Movie for that matter!

Our Social Media Manager, Marisa Negri, caught up with Jessica and had all of your burning questions answered! See what Mrs. Zappia had to say below!

Give us the low down on your academic and professional background.

— I graduated with Honors (Summa Cum Laude) from Brenau University with a Degree in Mass Communications. specifically Broadcasting & Journalism. My professional experience over the past seven years has been heavily concentrated in Advertising and Marketing in industries such as Radio, TV, and the Digital Space working for the top Media companies in Atlanta such as Atlanta’s #1 Top 40 Radio Station (99.7FM All The Hits Q100) & CBS Television Station. It was my love for events & passion for film that I founded Southern Hollywood Events in 2010 and have since earned two Film credits in the movie “42: The Jackie Robinson Story” & Anchorman 2.

What is your favorite thing about Lethal Rhythms?

— I love the consultative approach Joel takes with each and every bride. Joel goes up and beyond to make sure each Bride’s vision is met and matched with their own unique taste and style. Oh and the “No Cheesy Dance Music” Rule is pretty stellar too!

What made you get into the Wedding industry?

— I absolutely fell in love with the whole planning process and loved the creative aspect of it. It truly was the happiest day of my life and I want to help other brides have as much fun as I did on my special day!

Who are some of your favorite bands and musicians?

— It depends on my mood! I love a pretty good mix of everything, however, I’m not a big fan of country. My favorites include Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bob Marley, Hall & Oates, Ellie Goulding, Journey, Justin Timberlake, Bassnectar, Elton John, Marvin Gaye, Michael Bublé, Miguel, Phil Collins, Rod Stewart, Robin Thicke, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Zac Brown, Van Morrison, Cold Play, and Bad Company.

Tell us something goofy or unique about yourself.

— You may have caught a glimpse of me on Ryan Seacrest’s Reality TV show, Momma’s Boys, that aired on NBC in 2008. I was also Miss Teen United States 2004 and Miss Georgia Teenager 2003.

What advice do you have for potential new clients?

1) Relax! Soak up and enjoy every moment you can because your wedding will be here before you know it!

2) The sooner you can accept your wedding won’t go exactly as planned the better!

3) Everyone will want to steal your time at the reception to congratulate you…take the time to step back and take it all in! You’ll blink your eyes and it’s over. Oh and be sure to sit down long enough to eat!

As a newlywed herself, she feels a real personal responsibility to each wedding. She’s amazing at helping relieve the stress that can accompany a wedding day, and making the whole process a really fun, enjoyable one. We can’t wait for you to meet her!
